The Great Invocation is an ancient prayer, given to Alice Bailey by the great Tibetan Master Dhwal Khul and made available by The Lucis Trust. The Great Invocation has been practiced through many centuries by all the great civilisations that have ever existed. When intoned properly with the right intention, the Great Invocation can stimulate the descent of tremendous divine energy, which can then be used to bless a person, a community, a city and even a nation, or group of nations. Not only does it aid to transform the beings that are being blessed through it, but it is also a tool for the rapid spiritual development of the practitioner.

A mantra is a repeated sound, word or phrase, which when pronounced correctly stimulates certain energies on the physical, mental, emotional, etheric and spiritual plane. Thus a mantra is used to achieve a certain objective. The spiritual strength or the amount of spiritual energy flowing through the person using the mantra will directly influence the power and effect of the mantra.

According to ancient esoteric teachings, the Gayatri Mantra, is known as the mother of all mantras, which was passed down to mankind by Maha-Rishi Vishwamitra (Rig Vedas).

The Lakshmi Gayatri Mantra is a specific mantra used for abundance and prosperity on many levels.
